Today's vehicles offer plenty of high-tech driver-assistance features to help keep everyone safe on the road. Many of these options work without a second thought from the driver, ensuring you stay on your intended path, maintaining a respectable distance from the vehicle in front of you, and alerting you to unseen obstacles. They each play a distinct role in protecting everyone from an unfortunate accident.
The 2023 Acadia Denali comes with a head-up display that projects key information onto the vehicle's windshield. The team at Uebelhor & Sons Buick GMC Vincennes has put together this guide on the head-up display in the 2023 Acadia Denali to explain how it works.

Learn More About the 2023 GMC Acadia Denali Head-Up Display
On the 2023 GMC Acadia Denali, you get a 6-inch diagonal head-up display that projects critical information about your drive directly onto your windshield to help you keep your eyes and attention on the road where they belong. This feature is standard on the Denali trim and available on the SLT and AT4. It's not available on the base trim SLE. The information displayed on the head-up display includes:
- Your speed.
- Audio.
- Phone.
- Navigation, including upcoming turns and exits.
- Forward collision alert.
- Lane departure warning.
- Cruise control.
- Low fuel level.
- Tachometer.
Your information can be displayed on the head-up display in English, Spanish, or French. You can also display the numerical data in imperial or metric units. Use the trip computer in the Driver Information Center to make these selections.
How Does the 2023 GMC Acadia Denali Head-Up Display Work?
You can adjust the head-up display image on your 2023 GMC Acadia Denali. The control button is to the left of the steering wheel; to change the display image, follow these steps:
- Adjust your driver's seat to the position you desire.
- Start the engine of your Denali.
- Use the settings to adjust the display.
You can lift or press the button to center the image in your view. The head-up display image can only be adjusted up and down; you can't move it from side to side. You can also lift and hold the button to brighten and dim the head-up display. If you wish to turn the display off, continue to hold the dimming adjustment until it shuts down. While you can control the brightness of your head-up display, on the Denali, it's programmed to automatically brighten or dim to compensate for lighting.
